Part-Time Small Business Developer - Grant Reports - FY 2025



Job Description
  • Collaborate with the Small Business Entrepreneurship Development (SBED) Director to ensure accurate and timely reporting for the Nevada Capital Readiness Program (CRP).
  • Collect and document program activities from Silver State Capital Readiness program partners.
  • Prepare and submit information to the Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) as directed.
  • Read and understand the CRP grant and attend MBDA CRP meetings.
  • Work with the SBED management team to ensure timely grant reporting.
  • This is a part-time position working up to 19.5 hours per week.


Required Qualifications
  • Must be an adjunct faculty member.
  • Demonstrated understanding of grant reporting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using Salesforce customer relationship management (CRM) or similar software for grant reporting.
  • At least one year of grant reporting experience.
  • Experience working with federal grant administration.
  • Experience working with a diverse/multicultural student body and/or workforce.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited college.


Salary

$24,975 Annually (Position is contingent upon funding)

Note: Since this project involves part-time work outside the Faculty's regular course load, it will be further administered according to CSN's Human Resources policies and procedures for Letters of Appointment (LOAs) as laid out in CSN's Faculty Workload Policy.
